This
vacation home is located on a secluded site, just west of Lake Geneva, WI.
The house is oriented lengthwise along a ridge and features wide expanses of
glass in order to maximize views of the nearby nature conservancy and pond. The
house’s plan provides several connections to the surrounding landscape
through its organization into three distinct “buildings.”
The local farm vernacular is evident
in the home’s painted wood siding and a tower reminiscent of a grain
silo.
