Carol Barrett’s design work has
spanned the disciplines of architecture, landscape architecture and urban planning
for 18 years. Her unique background has allowed her to create projects
that seamlessly integrate the natural and built environment.
Prior to joining Scrafano Architects in 2002, Carol was an associate at Rios
Clementi Hale Studios in Los Angeles for seven years, and has also worked for
Studio Bau:ton, Katherine Spitz and Associates, and StudioWorks. Carol’s
designs have been published in Lotus and Pamphlet Architecture and recognized
by professional award programs.
Carol earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of
Michigan in Ann Arbor, and a Masters in Architecture with honors from SCI-Arc
in Los Angeles.
Carol’s two young sons keep her busy. In her free time, she puts
her design skills to work at a smaller scale – creating bags and purses.
